Yellowfin news 2017

Happy new year everyone!

Unfortunately not too much to currently report. The epic YFT fishing of a few weeks back dried up a bit and from what I hear only one's and two's coming out at the moment with quite a few mombaks being caught in between.

I just returned from a 3 week holiday at the breede, but have heard that it's very quite in the deep at the moment. Last trip out, the anglers had very warm water and numerous marlin were seen. Seems to be a good time to go hunt for billfish rather than tuna.......

all the best for 2017 all.
If anyone is looking at running to target marlin during the weekends and needs willing and able crew, please give me a shout. I have plenty marlin lures, live bait rigs etc, with some know how and experience. obviously willing to pay my way.
