Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th

Postby NickB » Wed Dec 11, 2013 1:40 pm

Lets hope superstitious dates have nothing to do with fishing!
Going to try the baan this Friday...

Wind direction will hopefully bring slightly warmer waters than last time (13C) and with that more activity.
I've heard the water is about 17-18 degrees? Anyone that can confirm that?
Wind speed is also "ok", so until about 14:00, we should be comfortable.

Will update you once I'm back! :ugeek:

Water is back up to 19 deg
But very clean, so fish early morning and late afternoon.
Enjoy the crowds.
Hooking and fighting a fish is the rush that brings you back time and again..

Sjoe the baan was lekka today!

All on board caught quota but sizes were a little dissapointing.
The big meneere didn't pitch up today.
Water was 18c the whole day with peaks at 19 and was clear.

All in all a fun day and well worth the drive!

Think this weekend is going to be hectic. We passed at least 30 boats as we drove back.
Gooduck guys! Hope the weekend delivers!
