Very well said Charlie-B.
I am not generalizing when I refer to locals; it is those that is in the know of how to catch fish that can cause the greater damage.
I am also semi-local for the past 6-7 years now; one thing is sure and that is that most fish is not caught over the festive period but rather before or after this period
I am going down tomorrow for a while and hope to see you there :)

This time of the year I flee from Langebaan's madness and go to Witsand. Also a bit crazy, but nowhere close to Langebaan. Last bit of work to be done tomorrow then early Saturday morning on the road :)

Productive two days on the water, medium class fish plentiful. Threw most of it back to grow a bit more.
