2 weeks to go and we will be doing our annual Oct pilgrimage to the Witsand shores. Anyone have any news so far?

Thanks

Hi Guys

Have any of you ever caught crabs in the Breede if so do you have any info on where, how and what the regulations are, thanks in advance. We are going up mid next week so any info on what is happening with the fish too would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi guys, we went up two weeks ago over some stunning weather days. Was a family trip so the boys put in the odd session here and there.Plenty of grunter around, we got some nice sizes on bait and lure, kept one for the pan. Some fly fishermen staying nearby picked up a couple too. There were a few small leerie coming out and the odd kobbie too but nothing massive. Heard of a bus kob coming out on the NSRI Jetty Witsand side whilst we were there though and missed a big old bull breaching at the mouth of Grunter Bay when we pulled in the one afternoon so keep an eye out for them.
