snoek reports

I've caught 10's of thousands of snoek as a commercial and recreational over the years but would have to say that a single snoek i caught on Sunday feels like more of an achievement to me than catching over 400 snoek in one single day in st helena bay years back! Where are the days when we could not decide weather we would launch at Millers, Hout Bay, OPBC or at Yzers because the snoek was everywhere........
Im really holding thumbs that the cape gets a proper season again soon, mostly for the commercial fisherman's sake

Plenty of snoek boats at Buffels today. Some catching good numbers. Water temp 14-15C. Apparently two commercial boats (the only ones) made huge catches in the week at buffels - point.

I heard there's snoek from St Helena Bay. Saw quite a few trailers parked as well at the harbour today. Does anyone know how far out and where the fish are?
