Jetski fishing

Post by speedmaster » Wed Jul 01, 2015 11:58 am

Good day people.

I am thinking of taking up Jetski fishing. Is there people in the Cape Town area that still fish off jet ski`s?
Would like to talk to somebody in connection with the sport.

Cheers

Marchant.
Its a up and coming sport here in CT.
Remember that at the moment Jetski's are not allowed in the marine protected areas. I.E Anywhere from 3 anchor bay to muizenberg basically,
That said you can still go to Robben and Dassen island and I must say targeting tail on a ski is great fun.
Come chat to me at Anchor Boat Shop and I can give you some pointers.

Speedmaster .

I use to own a ski that i used for fishing , great fun for 1 person,

Problem is that you are so limited to where you are aloud to catch ,

Langebaan Out , Breede Out , Cape Point Out ,

You can only really use it at Robben and Dassen , limits a person

That said they are economical and easy to handle man alone and tows like dream behind almost anything

Good luck and tight lines if you going down this route
