Took the family to Langebaan to enjoy a bit of surf fishin'. Strong Southerly wind and warm water, with low tide at 10am. Pumped our prawns and off we went.

Wife with our 4 week old daugher strapped in a pounch, showing us how it's done

GavieG, yes, we were in Langebaan today!! Small world!!   Next time come over and say hello!!

We only left Cape Town at 12pm and first grabbed a bite to eat in Langebaan. Pumped some mud prawn at Kabeljou Straat. Whilst we were there, i saw two stumpies coming out from the guys on the rocks.

Spoke to some boat anglers and they also confirmed, the cold 15 degree water, and they too blanked.....

Ended up going to Saldhana, where i got one stumpie at the Jetty at Pedro's. Apparently they caught VERY good fish there the morning on the full tide. Became to cold and miserable for the small ones, so called it a day...........

Seems like it was very quite everywhere in that area................

Hi Miles,

I saw you making u-turn @ Alabama Street around 16:30 while I was hooking up my boat.

I will make a effort to introduce myself next time.

We only hit the water @ 12pm. A fellow batsmen should me his lovely bloukop + the few streepiest.

Streepies appears to be in abundance currently.

Thanks for the great website Miles.
