Hi Ross

Great idea and initiative from your side.

Some points I would add:
- Safety aspect around bill fishing and more importantly around handling/leader them and hooks.
- Distinguishing between different bill fish species.
- I would move riggers to boat setup.
- Boat handling and the skipper responsibility in fighting a fish.
- I assume with lure, you are referring to size as well as head design and pulling angles.

Don’t forget to include circle hooks with terminal tackle and the importance of leader selection.

Regards

Ruan

Thanks for the input Ruan, we will try to get though as much as possible while trying to keep to the areas that have worked for us.
Chris will cover the leader'ing of the fish as this is what keeps him up at night...how to take a wrap and safely at that.

Each section will be followed by a discussion so hopefully we can refine the process and this will lead into more focused sessions.

Yesterday was a good day for bill fish - Brendan and Gareth released a small black at the 12mile on his way up to Struis and Maikira dropped a stripey in the same area.
