KAVIcomm calling issues - 25-11-2016

To all our customers, we are aware of the intermittent service. We are getting reports ranging from bad coverage to calls not completing and queuing to no end.
We apologize. I logged the fault at FleetCall last night around midnight and are now escalating it to the highest levels.
What you can do...
1) Share this post on all fishing forums
2) Report to me via a reply to this post or WhatsApp what you experiencing, and where it happened geographically.
3) Call FleetCall and report your issue via Kavi at 230200136. They will be able to look at which high-site and repeater you are locked on and run tests to try and find the problem in real time.

The more feedback we get from you the quicker we can identify the problem.

30-11-2016 Update:
Good news, Constantiaberg high-site has been identified as not coping with the increase of traffic on good fishing days, the days you guys need it the most. The site currently has 14 voice channels with a max of 16 channels. The last two channels are being activated over the next few days. Timers has also been set to kick off idle connections allowing for better availability.

The squeaky wheel gets grease. After many calls, error logs and WhatsApp messages, FleetCall ordered the equipment and submitted ICASA applications to further grow the channels on the site. This will take a few weeks. I am well aware of the frustrations and ask you to be patient for just a bit longer things are going to get better.

I have also been getting reports of calls not completing and queuing in Struisbaai, it is being looked at.

Yesterday there was one more channel added to Constantiaberg site and another to follow shortly. There were also work done on the switch that mange all the channels.
