Boat registration Gourits

Help please. My small river boat is registered for Breede river. Will this be ok for Gourits river. If not where can I register my boat for Gourits rivier?

A different permit is needed for the Goukou and Gourits rivers. I have only ever once encountered the guy who was suppose to check this over a December holiday and it doesn't look like anyone is ever patrolling. To be honest, I think it is just to make some money over peak season from the holiday goers. Because they are never there throughout the rest of the year. Breede is obviously a different story and well managed. If you have your fishing license and boat licenses, which includes the fishing off a boat you should be fine.

You can obtain a permit at the entrance of the Caravan Park.
