must say the info on this site is awesome well done there alot more that goes into fishing than we think would still love to try this one day. something i have always wondered is why do you guys cut a chunk out the tunas head? is this to kill the fish?

You have to expose the spine, then we ream the fish by using a piece of wire which we push down the spine which kills the fish. You also need to bleed the fish

Hi Miles, this is an extremely useful post for a beginner tuna fisherman like myself, thank you! However, on reviewing your original post, all the pictures have disappeared. I see an insert from "tinypic" but no picture. Is there any chance that you can refresh the original post such that everyone can see the original pictures you posted please?
