Kei wildcat buoyancy calculations needed

Post by Elliotgr »

Hi. I am refurbishing a Kei Wildcat. Does someone have the hull weight and buoyancy calculations? I need this as a starting point please. Thanks

Hi, for the hull weight the easiest would be to take it to a weighbridge if its on a trailer. For the buoyancy you can either do it by manual measurements or I know the SAMSA buoyancy guys have a calculation they use to do the buoyancy survey.

Thanks, but I was loking for an already worked certificate. However I now have two examples so have a goood idea of the weight and buoyancy required.
